A couple who was renovating their house withdrew 4 thousand dollars from the bank to pay the masters. After returning from the bank with a sealed envelope filled with $100 and $50 bills, he placed the money on the kitchen counter for safekeeping.
Clayton Law placed the money on the table and a few minutes later Law was astonished to see tiny pieces of chewed bills scattered on the floor. In a panic, he shouted at his wife, Carrie Law.
"I ran inside thinking I heard him wrong, but when I saw the confusion, I had no doubt," said his wife, Carrie. " I thought I was going to have a heart attack . Cecil (the family dog) actually did it." said.
"We couldn't believe it. We looked at each other and said, 'What are we going to do?' we said."
While Cecil snuck away to take a nap on the living room couch, the couple called their vet to see if they should take him in for a checkup because he'd eaten a pile of money.
Carrie Law said they were able to collect torn bills and put together about $1,500. He then called the bank and explained the situation to the manager.
Carrie was delighted to hear that the manager would take back all the money taped with the full serial numbers visible on the front and back of the bank.
