Tornado Watch in Effect for Melbourne, Cocoa, Titusville, and Palm Bay

The tornado watch remains in effect until 11 a.m. as "a few strong to severe storms" continue to move through the area after Tuesday night's weather disturbance. Early Wednesday morning, storms are expected to progress eastward, particularly along and north of the Interstate 4 corridor, according to the National Weather Service. The National Weather Service Melbourne stated, "A tornado or two are possible in and near the strongest storms that develop." Additionally, there is a very low risk of waterspouts along the coast and along and north of the Interstate 4 corridor.
